A disclaimer, in plain words

Two houses with the same water mark overhead can need entirely different repairs. Shingle age, the state of the decking, the flashing, the ventilation, past hail and the quality of the original installation all change the answer. What this site is not

• Not an inspection. Nothing you read here counts as a roof inspection, an engineer's opinion, an opinion on insurance coverage, or advice aimed at your specific home.
• Not a quote. Cost figures across our service pages and guides are rough planning ranges for ordinary projects in Cape Coral, in Fort Myers and elsewhere in Lee County. They aren't a quote and they don't guarantee a price. The real number moves with roof pitch, how many layers come off, decking repairs, the materials chosen, access, the permit, and whatever scope your carrier signs off on. The price is whatever the written estimate says.
• Not an opinion on coverage. Hail or wind damage might be paid for, or might not; that comes down to the wording of your policy, the deductible you carry and the adjuster's findings. We photograph and document; the carrier makes the call. The deductible is yours, and the law requires that you pay it.
• Not a before-and-after gallery. Pictures on this site illustrate the conditions and work the text describes. They aren't presented as documentation of a particular customer's job in Cape Coral.
• Not a guarantee. How long a roof holds up depends on the weather, on attic ventilation, upkeep, nearby trees and hail. Good installation gives the roof its best shot; it can't control the sky. The only warranty covering your job is whatever the contractor doing the work put in the agreement you both signed, and manufacturer warranties carry terms and registration steps of their own.
• Not the contractor. Independent contractors carry out the jobs that originate here. How that arrangement works, and how those contractors get paid, is covered in our referral marketing disclosure.
• Not responsible for other sites. Where we link out, it's for your convenience. We don't control what's on those pages and can't vouch for their accuracy.
• Not an emergency service. If water is pouring in, a tree has landed on the roof, or you notice sparks or a gas smell after a storm, don't go looking for answers on a website. Get people clear of the area, cut power to that section of the home if doing so is safe, and dial 911 or your utility company first. The roof can wait until the hazard is dealt with; call us then.
